Morbide sorprese

  

Domenica sono tornata dal mio weekend londinese, con un po' di tristezza nel cuore, visto che ci sono stata solo tre giorni (a breve un post con foto e quant'altro!). Per fortuna, ad aspettarmi a casa c'era un pacchetto voluminoso e soffice: era la lana merino da filare che avevo comprato qualche giorno prima da Eliade!

Appena aperto il pacchetto, si è sprigionato un meraviglioso profumo di vaniglia che si adatta perfettamente alla morbidezza incredibile di questa lana grigio perla.

Spero di riuscire a fare un buon lavoro con il mio drop spindle: rovinare una lana così sarebbe un sacrilegio!

Sto anche pensando di unire questo grigio bellissimo al blu che già conoscete. Cosa ne pensate? Secondo me stanno davvero bene insieme e sarebbe un modo per me di sfruttare il colore grigio, che da solo non mi sta troppo bene (sigh!).

Ma c'è tempo, c'è tempo...

Time flies: on Thursday I was leaving for London and now I'm already at work! I felt a bit sad yesterday when I came back from the English capital but luckily there was a fluffy and big package waiting for me at home: it was Eliade's Merino wool for spinning I had bought few days before! 

I opened the package and a delicate smell of vanilla spread to my nose, perfectly matching the wool's softness and its incredible pearl grey colour. I hope I won't ruin it all with my drop spindle: it'll be my first attempt at spinning and I don't really want to make a mess of this beauty! 

I'm also thinking about matching the final yarn with the blue one I already told you about – grey usually doesn't look great on me unless it's blended with something else... what about?
